PASAPORTE PARA UN ARTISTA

This photographic triptych earned recognition at the Pasaporte para un Artista, visual arts competition in the year 2000. The collection of photographs was conceived as a testament and contemplation of our recent history. These images were captured using a large-format Tower Press Camera 4x5”, paired with a Steinheil Culminar 135mm F4.5 lens.

On the left, you'll find an image of the National Bank of Peru in Lima, marked by the aftermath of an attack during the Marcha de los Cuatro Suyos, march. In the center, a family portrait featuring my sister and her loved ones adds a personal touch to the narrative. To the right, a Chullpa within the Sullustani funerary complex in Puno, Peru.
